DAY 1: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG
Meet and Greet at Guwahati Airport [GAU] / Guwahati Railway Station [GHY]. You will be headed for Shillong, the Scotland of the east and capital of Meghalaya.
On the way, visit Umium Lake – It is the largest man made lake of North East India more popularly known as Barapani.. Overnight Stay at Hotel in Shillong.
After reaching Shillong, proceed for the local sightseeing. Visit Ward’s Lake located at the heart of the city which is popular for its garden walks and boating, Lady Hydari Park and walk into Police Bazaar. Overnight Stay at Shillong.
DAY 2: SHILLONG TO MAWSYNRAM
Today we will visit Mawsynram – the wettest place on Earth. After breakfast we will drive towards Mawsynram. During this tour we will cover :
Mawphlang Sacred Forest – Being home to Meghalaya’s most renowned forest groves, this forest is nature’s museum which boasts a wide variety of unique flora – aroids, ferns, orchids and fauna.
Elephanta Falls – It is located 12 km on the outskirts of the capital city Shillong. The mountain stream descends through two successive falls set in dells of fern-covered rocks. At a short distance beyond the falls, there are two smaller falls, which are none the less beautiful and captivating. These are the “Wei laplam Falls” and the “Wir phang Falls”. A well-paved footpath and a small wooden bridge facilitate access to these falls.
Shillong Peak – Shillong Peak is the highest peak of Shillong. It is an ideal picnic spot located 10Km away from the city. It offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire city, the Himalayas, its waterfalls as well as the Bangladesh plains. A telescope is available for tourists to get a birds-eye view. In the evening, the city lights below appear like a star-studded abyss.
Cathedral Catholic Church – In the heart of the city, there stands a beautiful cathedral of Roman Catholics dedicated to Mary Help of Christian. Evening free for Leisure to relax or to explore Shillong Market. Overnight Stay at Hotel in Shillong.
DAY 3: EXCURSION TO MAWLYNNONG AND DAWKI – TRANSFER TO CHERAPUNJI
Wake up early and post breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong. Today you can explore the cleanest village in Asia Mawlynnong. You can take the skywalk and enjoy the spectacular view of the living Root Bridge.
Post lunch drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh, where export and import transactions take place. It is a splendid drive of 45 kilometres passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is a thrilling experience.
On approaching Dawki is the Umngot river, The Umngot river is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which is a single-span suspension bridge was constructed. Evening at leisure. Overnight Stay at Cherrapunji.
DAY 4: CHERRAPUNJEE LOCAL SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Post breakfast, check out from your hotel & proceed to view several attractions of Cherrapunjee Tour. Seven Sister Falls , Mawsmai Cave , .Eco Park, Nohkalikai Falls , Arwah Caves ,Wakaba Falls.

DAY 5: CHERRAPUNJI TO GUWAHATI
Post breakfast, check out from your hotel & then transfer to Guwahati airport with a sweet Holiday memory.
